Day 1 of our trip to Pennsylvania - The Wiffle Ball Game
We left NC at 5:30 AM on Thursday morning and arrived at our destination by about 2:30 that afternoon. It was a very good trip. All the children did well in the van on the way. I kept having to check to see if Rosalie was actually in her carseat . . . she was so quiet the whole way! What a blessing!
We had a great time on our trip and enjoyed time with family tremendously. I am going to be making several posts about it this week. On our first day there, Lisa (Rich's sister), took my boys out in the backyard and started playing wiffle ball with them. She started throwing the ball to them and trying to teach them how to hit the ball. . . and Martin actually hit one . . . so she started yelling at him to run. . .and she knew there was big trouble when he had no clue which way to run. So, she walked into the house and told their father that his sons needed him to teach them how to play ball! The boys had a great time playing wiffle ball and trying to hit the ball. And they did eventually learn which way to run!

Can't really tell you what happened here . . . but it's too cute not to include!
How fun! Andy is dying to teach the kids how to play ball...Katelyn really has no interest so we'll leave it to Zachary later! Looks like fun! What a great Aunt! Can't wait to read your week long posts about your trip!
