Swimming in the Pool at Nanny and Pupup's House!

Rosalie in her sun hat!
Day 2 of our trip to Pennsylvania - The Pool!
Nanny and Pupup have a beautiful pool in their backyard. Martin and Aaron had a wonderful time swimming in that pool! Martin got to the point where he could swim under the water for short distances while plugging his nose. For brief periods of time he would blow bubbles with his nose instead of plugging it. For some reason, the only pictures I took of him were when he had the arm floats on, but he spent most of the time with a pair of goggles on swimming under the water. He also learned how to jump in the pool and swim to the side. He must have jumped off the side of that pool hundreds of times!

Aaron didn't want to have much to do with getting his face wet, but had a blast swimming all over that pool with his arm floaties on. They slept really good each night we were there because of how worn out they got from swimming in the pool.

Jonathan put his arm floaties on and started playing on the stairs. Somewhere along the line he stopped paying attention to what he was doing and started floating away from the stairs. I was holding the baby, so I was not able to go in after him. So, Lisa (who wasn't planning on getting wet) jumped in after him. He was completely traumatized over it, but I have to tell you, his face never even got wet!! The arm floaties most definitely do their job!

Once Lisa got him out of the pool, he took those arm floaties off, threw them down on the ground and yelled, "I DONE!" Lisa kept trying to get him to come back in the pool, and he kept shouting at her, "NO, I DONE!" The interaction between the two of them was priceless.

My boys love their Aunt Lisa!!! She gives them all sorts of sweet treats to eat . . . and plays ball with them! Can't get any better than that!
